My husband Lee and I live on our family farm, The Chef’s Garden, in Milan Ohio with our Golden retriever girls Thyme 11, Tansy 7, Daisey 4 and Jasmine 1. Prior to breeding I was a Registered Nurse working in Obstetrics delivering babies. I had found my love with nursing! It was such a joy and so rewarding hearing that first cry and a new breath of life!
After getting my first Golden Retriever, quickly falling in love with the breed, there was no going back! I wanted to breed and share these little gems with like minded people. Over the past 9 years I have had one or two litters per year putting my heart and soul into each one!
I was fortunate to have worked directly with, and under, the tutelage of Elaine Brent (One Ash Kennels) for several years. Elaine has spent a lifetime perpetuating the quality and integrity of the Golden Retriever breed and was selected in 2014 AKC breeder of the year. It is my intention to carry on with the reputation that Elaine has built over the last 35 plus years.
My line of Golden Retrievers originated with a trip to England by Elaine who hand selected stock directly from the B.O.B in England.
My puppies are born and raised in our home, where they are handled and given a lot of love from day one. Plus, we provide around the clock care for their first two weeks of life. I take my responsibility with my puppies very seriously!
My puppies are nearly potty trained when they move on to their forever home. I have many repeat customers due to their amazing disposition, intelligence, and ease with training.
All of my puppies are AKC Registered, vaccinated, de-wormed, vet checked, and include a limited registration.
